Raised floor system is the floor above the sub floor, firstly this flooring system was used in computer room where required air conditioners installed under the floor.
The main category of raised floor including steel cement concrete core raised floor, calcium sulphate floor, wood-core floor, aluminum floor and different air ventilation rate floors.
The general size of the raised floor is 500*500mm, 600*600mm, 24’’*24’’,and the finished floor height of pedestals can be from 10cm--2000mm, or even higher. The concentrated loading capacity of the floor widely from 600lb to 2000lb according to CISCA /PSA MOB PF2 PS/SPA standard to meet various loading requirement.
As for the installation of raised flooring system, the bare finish panels with corner lock holes can be fixed onto the pedestal head directly with screws, and for the panels with HPL/PVC tile/ceramic tiles, the panels will be put on the grid connected by pedestals and stringers, no need any screws to fix the panels.
